Interior
Bedroom, Budhanilkantha
A main bedroom in a house on the northern edge of the valley.
Budhanilkantha sits high enough that the mornings are cold and the light is strong, so the room is planned around the window rather than the bed wall.
Full-height curtains run the whole glazed side to deal with both, and the storage is built as one flush wall behind the bed so nothing else competes for the floor. A slatted timber headboard and a single arched niche are the only relief; the rest is left quiet.
