Pub Fiction sports bar

A sports bar in Imadol, planned around sightlines to the screens and a pool table that needs clear air.

A sports bar is a sightline problem. Every seat has to see a screen, the pool table needs a metre of clearance on all four sides, and the bar has to be reachable without crossing a shot.

Seating is therefore banked around the perimeter in deep booths, with the table left in the middle of the floor and the circulation running behind the players. Heavy timber columns break the span and carry the lighting. The colour is deliberately loud — this is a room that only ever works with the lights down and the place full.
