Commercial

Showroom, Hetauda

A multi-brand retail frontage in Hetauda, designed to be read from a wide, fast road.

Hetauda's commercial streets are wide and quick, and the building has to hold several brands without becoming a signboard.

The frontage is built as one dark ribbed canopy running the full width, with the tenancies set back behind it and lit from above. Each unit keeps its own glazed bay and its own sign inside the common band, so the parade reads as a single building from the road and as separate shops from the pavement. The café at the end is given the corner and a deeper setback for tables.
